At the heart of the Medoc vineyard is Listrac-Médoc, Tea with beautiful gravelly ridges where the vine flourishes, and 3 km from the village, the Lafon castle is located in the center of a hamlet that bears his name.

Château Lafon in Listrac Médoc Cru Bourgeois is one of the oldest wine estates in the town, owes its fame to a great winemaker of the last century, Mr. Dominique Duat: in the VII th edition of "Bordeaux and its Wines" (1908). Edward Feret noted producing 50 barrels of red wine in his commentary, added: "Well kept in the most perfect way, it produces a full bodied and colorful fine wine, rated the best in the country."

It is successively Mrs. Boye, M. Flamerie Chapel, Mr. Theron. Since 2011, it is owned by Groupe Bel Eden.
